WITH YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT, WE CAN REALIZE OUR PROJECTS
Our Priorities:
- To develop, 10 km from Dunkirk and 5 km from Belgium, the commemorative stele of Good Father Frédéric at his birthplace, the family farm in Ghyvelde (Hauts-de-France), transforming it into a place of pilgrimage and remembrance for him, who will soon be canonized as a Saint by the Vatican, and for all those who suffered and gave their lives to liberate Flanders in 1945 (see articles from the Flanders newspaper on the "Canada-Quebec" page).
- To uncover the springs and make available the fountain where everyone can request graces.
- To create a shelter for pilgrims, visitors, tourists, etc.
- To build a Chapel and a mini-museum.
- To erect a memorial of remembrance and history in the form of a tall tower featuring a spiral of the names of Canadians/Quebecers who died during the 39/45 war and the liberation of Flanders.
- To create and bring to life this place of warm gatherings and memory that could be part of a tourist circuit in collaboration with Dunkirk, tourist offices, and various associations in Hauts-de-France and Belgian Flanders (with the border being 5 km away and 10 km from La Panne).
- To collect donations, legacies, and support for the construction and development of all short- and medium-term projects.
Thank you for your participation: membership fees, donations, legacies, sponsorships... Your contributions will be very useful for this good cause and may be tax-deductible (see the "Contact/Members/Help and Support" page).
Your help, no matter how small, will be welcome... and we thank you very much for it.
